Speech by the initiator of Zhejiang Hangmin Industry Group Co., Ltd.

The success lies in two aspects: one is policy, the other is opportunity.

We develop from a small village dyeing plant with RMB 100,000 yuan into the largest-scale village group company with a total assets of RMB 1.8 billion yuan in Zhejiang.

Experience of over 20 years has fully shown us that :

Policy is like the sun, scattering its light in all directions. While opportunity is like the market, markets of tomorrow and today are not the same.

Good policies are set by the central committee of the CPC, while favorable opportunities should be caught by us. This principle stays immortal and true for ever.

Faced with new challenges, we should keep and carry forward the Hangmin spirit: work unitedly inside, work honestly outside, making great efforts to build a strong state, marching with the times to make greater achievements in a down-to-earth manner.

About the initiator of Zhejiang Hangmin Industry Group Co., Ltd.

The leader who lifts Hangmin Village out of poverty, Mr. Zhu Chongqing was born in Feb. of 1953. In 1979, he led Hangmin villagers to set up Xiaoshan Bleaching and Dyeing Factory with starting capital RMB 60,000 yuan. After more than two decades of development, now it has become the largest village-level group company: Zhejiang Hangmin Industry Group Co., Ltd.. Zhu Chongqing is now the SEC of Party Committee of Zhejiang Hangmin Industry Group Co., Ltd. (Hangmin Village), board chairman of Zhejiang Hangmin Industry Group Co., Ltd. and the senior economist.

At his sixteen, Zhu Chongqing worked in quarry of Hangmin Village. A young boy has fully endured the hardships of labour and suffered hungriness. He has been expecting that all the villagers will live a good life. After he joined the Communist Party, this plain thought is sublimed. He led other people in the fighting of every difficulties and achieved one and more successes. A small village-run enterprise leaps to a modernized enterprise group with strong capacity.

Zhu Chongqing contributed the most to development of Hangmin economy. In the past 20 years, he has successively got such honorable titles as Pioneer of the New Long March, Top Ten Outstanding Youth, Country's Township Enterpriser, and National Labor Model, etc. He was once the representative of the 8th People's Congress.

In the new century, under the leadership represented by Zhu Chongqing, Hangmin Group sticks to the strategy of collective economy and common wealth. She is now advancing to the overall construction of comparatively well-off.
